About TaleWeaver Ink

A home for the stories finding their people.

TaleWeaver Ink is a publishing company and a source of practical help for writers. We’re drawn to underdogs and misfits, and to the found families they build along the way.

The reason behind the work

A story deserves a chance to connect.

A worthwhile story does not always find a home through a large publishing house. TaleWeaver grew from Shawn Connelly’s experience of bringing his own stories to readers, then building the publishing support they needed.

That experience shapes both sides of our work: helping readers discover books and helping writers work out how to move their stories forward.

Founder

Shawn Connelly

Author & business operations executive

Shawn brings firsthand experience of developing fiction, publishing books, and building the operations behind a growing catalog. His work includes the Starweaver Academy novels and the younger-reader companion The Cursed Artifacts.

The creative work and the business work meet here: developing a story, preparing it for readers, and organizing the steps that keep a publishing project moving.

Shawn maintains his standalone author home at shawnconnelly.ink.

Experience you can explore

Books already finding their readers.

Our catalog includes fantasy adventures for teen and young adult readers, a younger-reader companion, and Avery Shea’s forthcoming romantasy, The Ninth Stone.

A documented moment from the catalog’s history.

Tidebreakers Call, Legacy of the Abyss, and The Shadow Trials appeared at #1, #2, and #6 at the same time on Amazon’s Teen & Young Adult Books & Libraries Fiction eBooks paid bestseller chart.

These are historical Kindle category positions, recorded in saved chart images.

Know what you are agreeing to.

Publishing relationships and separately hired services have different purposes. We begin with your project and goals, then define the proposed work, who will do it, and the responsibilities and terms before you decide.

Services begin with worldbuilding support, consulting, and ghostwriting. If you need help with a finished manuscript or its route to publication, we can discuss the next steps and identify the work your project requires.
